The Flipside of the Pillow

Wow, what a kiss
You said "how's that sir?"
I Wish I knew who you were
Near perfect Ms.
Tommorow just a blur
I Wish I knew who you were
I'll See you on the flip side of the pillow
The rest of the day the brain turns to brillo
I'll figure this out
I dont think so
I'll see you on the flip side of the pillow
Gosh, you can't be new
Past lives or two
I Wish I knew who you were
Don't believe that shit
Maybe you do
I Wish I knew who you were
I'll See you on the flip side of the pillow
The rest of the day the brain turns brillo
I'll figure this out
I don't think so
I'll see you on the flip side of the pillow
I can't remember the face
I can't remember the place
my heart running at this pace
Bye bye Dom
I'll See you on the flip side of the pillow
The rest of the day the brain turns brillo
I'll figure this out
I don't think so
I'll see you on the flip side of the pillow

Thanks guy's.
I wrote that yesterday actually. It's intentionally vague, it's about seeing somebody in a recurring dream, and not knowing who it is.
I've had a recurring dream of a woman for years. Still today dint know who it is, but she shows up.
Maybe not my best song1 -
Love that Coldplay-ish vibe! Nice!0

@Domd Love your title; unique! I'm wondering, after reading your response to this thread about the 'recurring dream' you have if that should be mentioned some place in the song. It would make it crystal clear as to what the song is about. I could be wrong.
Really enjoyed the song as it is! Love your musical vibe!

@mandosummers thanks, yes cold play comes to mind in this for sure
@HummerWisdom hi, thanks. Yeah it would definitely clear it up if I said it out loud. I think I was asking myself how do I make the listener winder what's going on, cause the dream is confusing.
It's not a bad dream at all, I love the dream, lol. But I don't remember what she looks like even, I just know in the dream who she is.
Happened few days ago so thought I'd try to write about it.
If I was pitching it to a publisher I'd definitely make it straight forward.
Guess I'm going for a little art. thanks for listening1 -
It made me think of it as a one night stand kind of relationship that you keep coming back to. Before reading your explanation of course! Like the music too. Good track!

@Domd - for some reason the link https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=15043514 is opening for me but I am unable to get the audio file that is playable. Do you have this song on any other platform?

Just confirming the Soundclick file is still playing for me. Doesn't help you though @arnabs !

@RainyDayMan - For me it gets into an incessant "Human Verification" step which doesn't seem to get over even though I click the right matches mostly all the time :( The system doesn't seem convinced at all that I am a human :(

I heard it just now, had to do the verification with the Audio byte and that worked

@Domd - Loved it! Once again, such a different style compared to what I have already heard in this forum. Modern-ish pop, very well mixed, has a catchy chorus and the melody lines of the verses sit smoothly as well on the ears. This is a sure shot radio hit in my opinion. Glad to hear your songwriting style :)

@arnabs thanks yeah I agree has a mainstream appeal to it. But by now the radio plays weak stuff
I did this using AI. I wrote the lyrics and then searched out the right setting for it.
I try to find close to how um singing it in my head
Using my lyrics to trigger the arrangement I did no mixing of it. I consider it a demo
I will be doing more work with my own arrangements and my own vocals. The tech to do that is here.
Glad you enjoyed, but it's more than just ai doing anything. Nothing does anything until you tell it to.1
Howdy, Stranger!
