@HummerWisdom - I like your raw honesty. unabashed. I think a punch in the gut once in a while, livens things up a bit. Whether it's heaven or hell, depends on your outlook. my only issue is the word Worst, but I guess there are worst words than worst, 😁

Renee, this is one of my favorites! It was catchy, the chorus was perfect, and the lyrics touched me deeply.
Especially this verse:

Strong message Renee. This is all about calling it as you see it, and the message is coming through loud and clear.
A couple of minor things.
"raped and worst", I think should be "raped and worse"
and "Let’s not forget the slum-lords" the "Let’s not forget" part feels a little weaker. Maybe "Laughter of the slum-lords" or something like that?
