Wild fire inferno

Elvis Nash/ Avrim Max Topel/ Rachel Phillips

.

Verse 1:

I’ve always felt a little different

When it comes to love

Never felt a real connection

Like everyone does

Maybe I’m broken

Never knew how

It went unspoken

And still so loud

And then I met you

Baby you broke through

Chorus:

Cause your a passionate flame

I’m drawn to your blaze

Higher and higher into the sky so

Take me where you want to go

Fan the heat in my soul

All that I know

You lit these fires in my heart

Burning through me

Like a wildfire Inferno

Verse 2:

I don’t know how you did it so well

When it comes to us

Made me believe in something so real

Something I can trust

Maybe you showed me

What I never found

Held me closely

When I hit the ground

If I never met you

I don’t know what I’d do

CHORUS

your a passionate flame

I’m drawn to your blaze

Higher and higher into the sky so

Take me where you want to go

Fan the heat in my soul

All that I know

You lit these fires in my heart

Burning through me

Like a wildfire Inferno

Bridge:

Like a wildfire

on fire

For you

Like a wildfire

I’m on fire

For you

CHORUS

Cause your a passionate flame

I’m drawn to your blaze

Higher and higher into the sky so

Take me where you want to go

Fan the heat in my soul

All that I know

You lit these fires in my heart

Burning through me

Like a wildfire inferno

  • Good lyrics. although I think wildfire and fire is redundant. but that's me :)

  •  redundant is good on pitching songs

Got to say this is an amazing piece Elvis. A great hot hot love tune, And I'm amazed the way you changed your voice on this one...very seductive...still I can't help but wonder , what would it sound like in your usual deep sensual soulful voicel?

  • Thats Rachel , I don't think I could pull it off , its more of a chick song

    Thanks

@ElvisNash - As a listener not a music guru, I know what I like, and this song is it!

I wouldn't change anything about it. The melody and the softness of Rachel's voice goes well with the lyrics.

Who is the lyricist? Who's playing the guitar?

Amazing job to all involved. I can dig it! :-)

Nice song Elvis, you should write more of them.

  • I don't really connect with this one. I kept waiting for it to build up and power out - you know like a wildfire inferno. But it stayed low key and honestly a bit tame. It's fine, but it didn't set me on fire.

  • @ElvisNash very pretty song. Rather hear you sing it but that's just me. Not that the singer isn't lovely but I'd rather hear a man sing it. Probably because when I read the lyric first, I heard you.

    I agree with Elvis. It's a woman's song.

I don't want to hear a man saying:

    Like a wildfire

    on fire

    For you

    Like a wildfire

    I’m on fire

    For you

  • @TammyB I still do wanna hear a man sing it! 😍

Truly feel it could go either way. Just so used to hearing Elvis sing his own, I guess. It's fine the way it is as stated previously.

Renee, Elvis is going to have to post a small snippet singing it so we can hear. LOL.

  • I would pay to see elvis in drag singing this song 😀😂
