Invisible Guy

I stood in the doorway, seemed like quite a while
Nobody looked up, nobody smiled
I'm the Invisible Man
I'm the Invisible Guy
Nobody ever notices me saying hello or goodbye
I crossed the room and I sat down alone
Everybody poking at their telephone
I'm the Invisible Man
I'm the Invisible Guy
Nobody ever sees me when I'm walking by
I told them something, I know it was true
I'll hear it next week like it's something new
I'm the Invisible Man
I'm the Invisible Guy
Nobody hears a word I say, no matter how hard I try
I get so lonesome in the middle of the night
The Invisible Woman -- nowhere in sight!
I'm the Invisible Man
I'm the Invisible Guy
Nobody's ever gonna care if I live or die.

Lovely blues number! Love the harmonica and nice guitar work too!
Like how you are switching between Invisible Man and Invisible Guy.
Can feel this way sometimes!
Good stuff!

I must give credit to the other musicians:
Chris Freeman on slide & harmonica, and Doug Vinkle on bass.
We were all kids on the same street in a remote mining town in the 1960's. Now we are stretched out across western Canada, but thanks to the internet we have been able to collaborate.
[Also, please accept my apologies for not commenting on more songs on this site, but my internet connection is extremely lame. In fact, I was surprised to see this link work, when I can't even open SoundCloud myself.]

I liked it. A little bit of a "Buddy Guy" vibe that I thought was perfect for this song. Bluesy Jazz.

Great to see you here Terry. I've been absent for a little while. I haven't quit the forums, I just needed to take a break.
This is awesome. Many moons back I played bass for a guy playing this style, and I loved it.
A great track😀
