I was looking for a more psychedelic rock sound but but a first attempt I'm pleased with this . I got carried away and done a version that is probably too long.

@KatiesPRIDE Love this lyric and how 'silly' actually is the new best friend...nice. (at least that's how I took it to be). Nice form lyrically. Now for a listen.....okay, you fooled me as I was expecting a female singer but I see how this song could go either way. Pretty song. Love the photo used on SUNO!
If this were my song I might mix up a bit the lines: "each day that passes, I feel further away" with something like "each day that passes, there are no words to say" (maybe just once, just to mix it up a bit. But this is NOT my song! It's great as it is.

For me, it doesn't work with a male voice. Guys have best friends but not usually in the way that girls do, and they don't talk this way to each other. I think it would have more impact with a woman singing it.

Well done Katie, that was a very good first effort in using Suno. Learning how to get the best out of Ai is a learning curve so experiment.
Take it slow and simple and listen to others work, especially what prompts they used to get the sounds you like.
Make a list of prompts with a short description alongside, it'll become a reference book after a while and make life a lot easier.
Tip of the day: open two accounts, you can transfer songs between accounts so you end up with double the credits!
