Caribbean Cowboy.. silly song
Used to ride bulls out of West Texas
Got beat up so flew Jet Blue to St. Thomas
Traded Mexican tequila for Jamaican rum
Play a knock off Chesney guitar with steel drums

No stopwatch and Brahma named Suicide Town
Just the Bahamas and to-die-for Island sundowns

I'm a Caribbean Cowboy
A rowdy sailor from Saint Barts to St.Croix
Home on the range is a beach of white sand
A sun-kissed tan my permanent brand
Like a drunk parrot making some noise
I'm a Caribbean Caribbean Cowboy.

I got nothing against the good ole USA
Cept country radio stopped playing George Strait
Now I’m living in a reggae world
In love with an brown eyed almond-skinned girl

She's got a palm leaf souvenir little tiki hut
Tourists buy Marley shirts and cocunut cups

Getting stomped on by a 1000 pound buffalo
Now I wet a finger raise it up and go
Wherever the trade winds blow

Home on the range is a beach of white sand
A sun-kissed tan my permanent brand
Like a drunk parrot making some noise
Like a drunk parrot making some damn noise
I'm a Caribbean Caribbean Cowboy.
Yeah Caribbean Cowboy

I don't know about silly. Maybe the joke gets a bit lost on a Brit, but I reckon this is a great song. Fabulous arrangement and cool vocal as I've come to expect.
BTW, I had to turn off my vpn as Soundcloud appears to be blocking vpn's just now.

Elvis, this is definitely a unique sound. Nice production and your voice reminds me of someone and I can’t quite put a finger on it. A bit Roger Allan Wade meets Bob Dylan. It works!0

It is the first song. What do I hear in the morning? The sky is a deep blue and the air smells of grass, coffee and toast while I listen to you. I like the arrangement, it goes perfectly with the Caribbean story, cheerful and bright framing your voice while you drag the words with that cadence that only you know how to give!! I really enjoyed it Caribbean coywboy! @ElvisNash

Elvis, nice listen ! . . . I like this, sung in a kind of Bob Dylan style, starts like a geography lesson, then evolves into your social commentary . . . it all works for me, especially the attitude and commitment you sing it with, and I enjoyed the very pro sounding production . . . you've sure got some interesting stories to tell in your songwriting.

social commentary ? Country artists are always saying we miss George Strait, George Jones, Merle Haggard . old school country
So I played off that
Thanks Man
