Apathy in the old west: Helldorado
Tombstone, Arizona was known as Helldorado, befitting it's lawless nature. Studio recording with some friends.......

Out in the streets of Helldorado, a Colt revolver in his hand
There stands a lonesome desperado, there lays another in the sand
People peer through shuttered windows, silent witness, justice done
The only law in Helldorado is the round end of a gun
No one cried in Helldorado, no one even knew his name
They stood 'round and watched him die though, Judge and jury just the same
When the sun comes up tomorrow, and they've laid him on Boot Hill
If god won't come to Helldorado it's for sure the devil will

Well that was a lot more upbeat than I was expecting after reading the lyric! Is that deliberate for contrast?
My favorite line is your final one:
If god won't come to Helldorado it's for sure the devil will

Cool track! It could fit nicely in a western series like Bonanza, or, considering the accordian solos, maybe Hogan's Heroes in the French bar scenes with the mademoiselle spy! LOL! I enjoyed listening! Nice work! 😀
