I thought japov or John might get a kick out of this. My preacher josh is mentioned

God Saves Men in Low Places

Well it wasn’t for grins; just helping a friend
Who frowned as Josh pulled up a chair
He wanted to know why He had to show
No way that a preacher was there

Josh saw the surprise the dismay in his eyes
As he swept all the bottles away
His Bible came out and no longer a doubt
What the preacher had come there to say

Chorus:
God saves men in low places
Sure it’s not ideal but in rare cases
When friends all pray, then he’ll say okay
Well it gets quiet when the Lord graces
When he takes control; it’s an oasis
Yes God can save in low places

Well Josh thought “Was I wrong?
“Did my God come along?
But then he prayed like before
And then told his friend how new life could begin
If he followed Christ through the door

Hey Josh wasn’t loud but God touched the crowd
It took just an hour and then
God filled up his fold some young and some old
It might never happen again

Repeat Chorus

I like the title! :)

I've been avoiding commenting here... This particular story may have personal meaning for you, so it's hard to just tear it apart lol :)

Well, in THAT case lol...
It's a good story, but a bit limited. I just can't help but think, especially from a preacher's perspective, there must be many, many, many ways "God saves men in low places". This lyric could even be comical ;)

I thought it was comical. Just finished it off with a optimum ending

Which direction do you think it needs to go?

I'm just thinking out loud lol.... However, I have often wondered what it's like for a Catholic priest to take confessions all day ;)

Imagine a Southern Catholic... in a small Alabama town...

MAS, great work! I wouldn’t make any changes. Very good the way it is.
