But here I am again, behind the glass that unites us.

This song is old, but I want to give it a chance on this forum. It's basically an instrumental, although it has its lyrical part in the first part.

I had fun doing this work; it was different, I was different, or so I think.

I hope you're all well. I've seen that many of you continue to create magic, and I also hope my work entertains you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIqkqFWAC84

The train was going fast

leaving the night behind

and the rhythm of its sound

awoke sleeping echoes

on the wallls of that limbo

The train was goijng fast

leaving its lament behind

and I devoured time

wrapping it in my eyes

to lookk for its secrets

The hours stretched

under the gaze of that sound

while my life continues running

through that clock that is not mine

You guys seemed to like my previous post, so I've decided to share another ragtime piece I composed using MuseScore. For this one, I took more inspiration from the works of Joseph Lamb, another of the famous ragtime composers of the time, who would often repeat the second section of the melody at the end.

Hope it's enjoyed!

https://youtu.be/6R6cB1mon9A

People who know me here and elsewhere may not know it, but I love ragtime. Yes, not a very common style on forums like these, but a genre I have been in enthralled with for years and wanted to try my hand at composing in. Unfortunately, my piano skills aren’t the best, so for this piece, I composed using MuseScore, which for those who don’t know, is a site where you can create your own sheet music and generate audio playback from it. Creating this piece took a very, very long time, literally months, as I had the first section sitting around for ages before I recently got the inspiration to finish it.

With that long intro and explanation out of the way, this is the Runaround Rag:

https://youtu.be/ZDp9UqNQbNI
