Geometry
Words - me, Lyrcs - Suno
backstory - in my AIT school for the military my roommate was nicknamed pee boy, because whenever he got drunk, he peed wherever, one morning about 2 am, I heard him peeing in my corner of our room. I asked him what he was doing, at the end of story, that's what he said. That's why I'm peeing in your corner then passed out on the bed.

[Verse 1]
I'm on a train on a straight railway line
Looking at my watch, never make it on time
[Hook - Pentatonic Humming]
Do do do doo do do doo do
Da da da da, da da da da
[Verse 2]
On a merry go round and round
Had cotton candy, multi-colored sick
[Hook - Pentatonic Humming]
do do do doo do do doo do
Da da da da, da da da da
[Guitar Solo]
[Verse 3]
I'm surrounded by four gray walls
Look at my plans, forgot the door
[Hook - Pentatonic Humming]
Do do do doo do do doo do
Da da da da, da da da da
[Verse 4]
I rode my tricycle into traffic
should try to be more self-aware
[Hook - Pentatonic Humming]
Do do do doo do do doo do
Da da da da, da da da da
[Verse 5]
In an octagon ready to throw down
Then remembered, I can't fight
[Hook - Pentatonic Humming]
Do do do doo do do doo do
Da da da da, da da da da
[Verse 6]
I had a black cat named ennea
Fell off a building, no nine lives
[Guitar Solo]
[Outro]
And that's why I peed in your corner, says pee boy

My AIT was as Lowry AFB, in Colorado. It was great. No morning or evening detail. At 4pm once class is done, you're clear until the next morning. the only thing was your wall locker had to be up standard, that's about it :)

Thanks Muskie, thought a nonsensical silly song after all the dark songs was warranted :)

just 3 months , its a long story . They were smuggling heroin in coffins . I guarded Nixon from rioters in 1969 .
Colonel smuggled the heroin. He's probably still in prison , Who knows maybe he snitched and in Protective custody in Florida . My understanding it went pretty high up . Remember that Water gate thing ? a lot of files were lost or sealed . 56 years ago , they're all dead .

There's a song right there ;).

Water gate ? heck kids don't even know who Nixon was , They think its crazy now , Shoulda seen 1969 . the only reason now is so important is cuz of 24 hour news channels and the the net

no, your time in 'nam.

Ahh 56 years ago , I don't wanna talk about it , Some one peeing in a corner made my day , lifes Comedy Central

I image not. what's funnier is about a week later I was coming up the back stairwell to our barracks, and these two guys with buckets, mop and some kind of vinegar spray was cleaning up another spot he peed :).. I heard this fuck echoing in the stairwell :)

ha ha ha , Use to be this hillbilly that walked on his hands in the barracks all day . This black guy was saying all the time , he was a pimp back in the real world , Right and you joined the army . Kinda how it was back then , These thugs in Chicago , they had 2 choices join the army, or go to prison .
Private Jones would not get out of bed in the morning . So the Drill Sargent threw him out of bed and broke his arm . He said if you tell the captain , I'll break your other arm .

private jones was me. the 1st 3 days of basic training, I could not wake up on time. all three times they pushed my bunk over with me in it mummified because how tight the sheets were. :) Iwas used to the beach life, wake whenever, you'll get going eventually.

Sargent Fulmer , 3 tours in Nam , He was tuff . Does sound like you were private jones lol

I served with a lot of soldiers that did multiple tours. Our transport sergeant was the one who extracted soldiers, regardless of condition, he was messed up. I asked why he stayed in, and he said, there was no life for him outside,

Forgive me but I know nothing about American military life as I'm from over the pond, and I have no background with the military over here either, but this has to be the most catchy Suno offering I ever heard!! I love the reggae-ish vibe. And I like the pee-boy story too! What's not to like?
You deserve commercial success because I reckon you're making the most of this technology and using it in a very creative way. I wouldn't know where to start if I'm honest!

Thanks Chris, I really appreciate it. Suno great, just having fun right now. in terms of commercial aspect, I don't feel comfortable monetizing because I can't say with 100% that they are using public domain songs. When I start producing my own songs in a DAW, then we'll see.

Might not been a bad deal , spend 30 years in , see the whole world . Retire on a beach at 55 or so in some tropical country on a military pension. I guess it depends what your MOS was on adventures around the world. Move every time you re-up.

after 6 years in the reserves, I was spent. I was offered a sweet deal to re-enlist. they would have given me 30K, free schooling a bump from E4 to E6, but I'd have to transfer from Ops to Intel and be stationed overseas. My wife's job was taking off, I had a decent job, so I turned it down. not sure if that was the correct call or not. but the 311h provided combat support for both Iraq wars, Bosnia and other excursions.. But I ran Ops, we were responsible for not only deployments, but makings sure supplies were met, pretty much everything to keep the 200K lives safe. it wasn't uncommon on these exercises that I'd be up for 36 hours straight because there was so much to do. Not as stressful as being in actual combat, but even on paper, when there was a loss, i took it personally.

This has the makings of a fantastic song. I love everything that is there.
I think it needs a middle eight that is more straightforward, maybe a conventional verse narrating the scene before being pulled back into the dream.
0 -
This isn't a dream. do you get what's it's about?
0 -
This song isn’t a dream — each line is literally a geometric shape, which is why it’s called Geometry.
And in each verse a message.
Verse 1 - straight line.
Verse 2 - circle
Verse 3 - box
Verse 4 - triangle
Verse 5 - octagon
Verse 6 - enneagon (nonagon, but enneagon sounded better)
Outro - 90 degree angle.
It’s not meant to follow conventional song structure; it's written entirely in the abstract. this is more for the experimental / prog genre.

Sounds like you can write a book
0 -
more like a short story, things happen in bits and spurts. and essentially stopped when I turned 33 :)
0 -
i like it more now. I didn't catch that progression.
0 -
I think it's very clever. I didn't actually enjoy this one. But that's a matter of taste. I'm a lot less into the experimental / prog rock stuff than you are.
