Safe From War
Watched the news, went to keyboard, pounded this out in 15 min and put it in SUNO, so it's pretty much raw stream of thought about our current situation

(original upload is too sloppy for public consumption, impressed SUNO interpreted it as well as it did)
SAFE FROM WAR
Keep us safe from war
Keep us safe from war
Hear the mothers hear the soldier
Hear the drums beat
We're all brothers
There will be no peace
When we're led by whores
Keep us safe from war
Keep us safe from war
[instrumental]
I saw it on the TV
it's all a sham
Every bomb that drops
That's a murder that's planned
50 school girls they're all dead
While the child rapists
Destroy where they tread
To distract you from the truth
You can see with your head
You can tell yourself
it's on a distant shore
That's not going to
Keep us safe from war
Keep us safe from war
[instrumental]
It's a war on the truth
It's a war for your soul
Do you fall into line
Fall under control
Do you fight the creeping fascists
and for the freedom they stole
first they come and take out the least
Don't matter if it's coming from the west
or coming from the east
Some people claim to know the number of the beast
Is this what you were votin' for
Blood in the streets
from the middle east to your corner store
You have failed to
Keep us safe from war
Keep us safe from war
Keep us safe from war
Keep us safe from war

omg, this is all over the place.
who are the whores that you are talking about,
which war is sham, are you talking about what's going on int the middle east?
what 50 schoolgirls are you talking about?
which fascist are you talking about and whose freedom did they steal?
Who is the least they are taking out.
Are you trying to say that current admin is under the mark of the beast?
Blood in what streets?
All you are doing is listing incendiary topics without any context.
This isn't a fight song, this is uninformed rant, at least that's my take on this..
Maybe you should have set this down before posting, then come back to it with fresher eyes.

Didn't really hear/see in the read of the lyric how good this was going to be. Simple lines... and REALLY appropriate music for the mood and tone the lyrics set. Given that it's Suno, it's REMARKABLE prosody. Not surprising prosody. . . but remarkable. Great message and delivery.

I'd rather crawl over glass than to be brainwashed by the news . Writers always go there , problem is will always have wars
Looks pretty gruesome on the lyrics , Good job . Well people get bored so they start wars , God likes wars , kinda a hobby . You know in God we trust and all that bullshit

Yes, to distract us from other headlines (like the Epstein files)
what 50 schoolgirls are you talking about?

Minnesota? Killig American citizens in broad daylight?
Who is the least they are taking out.
"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me'
Are you trying to say that current admin is under the mark of the beast?
They're the ones who are claiming they are sent by God...
Blood in what streets?
Minnesota... other places where civil protest is met with violence

I was going to ask some of the same questions about the lyrics but @jgkojak has answered them thoroughly. As for the song, well it comes over like it's played by a good rock band. I'm not sure that a real rock band would arrange the song in quite this way, but this isn't the point really. What I'm hearing is great, as is the message, so well done.

You’re throwing out a bunch of disconnected headlines without a single cohesive thought tying them together, and you haven’t vetted any of it.
Yes, Trump embraced crypto — that’s true — and it makes him look hypocritical. But he also directed the government to investigate and regulate it. Both things can be true.
The Iranian schoolgirls story has not been verified.
There was an attack, but the casualty numbers are disputed, and no independent source has confirmed them. It’s horrific regardless, but you’re stating unconfirmed numbers as fact.
The Minnesota crackdown was violent, but it wasn’t fascism.
Those were immigration‑related operations, not random killings of Americans in the street. They were isolated incidents during a blanket enforcement sweep. Serious, yes — but not fascism. You’re using that word incorrectly.
And you’re mixing two unrelated scriptures in one verse, again, with nothing connecting them.
You’re pulling references from everywhere without understanding their context or nuance.
Take a look at Eve of Destruction or Blowin in the Wind. They have a central theme and stick with it. they don't throw random events together and call it a song.
As far as I know, no U.S. city has been attacked, and Iran’s retaliatory strikes have been confined to the Middle East. There’s no evidence of an imminent domestic threat.
Your premise is “we’re not safe from war,” but nothing you’ve listed actually supports that theory.
You have some powerful imagery that each can stand on its own, but they are being watered-down by a single line, which loses its impact. Pick one and build around that.

Love the message!
The song itself is a moment in time lyric. Could be difficult in later years to make sense of the various references, but right now it hits the mark.
"Keep us safe from war" feels a little passive to me. Maybe "Save us from war"? Or even 'Save me..."? I think "us" is closer to where you are in the rest of the song. The victims, the soldiers, the public all suffer collectively from the actions of the minority elite.
Music is a good fit, there's a power to that.
You've poured out your feelings here and they come through loud and clear.
I like it.
