The Rise

Woke up one morning a while back to a fantastic painted sunrise out my back door.  Grabbed my phone and got it on video.  Very quickly the song began to unfold.

But then it got a lil obsessive.  I’d get up way early in the morning to drive to an east facing outer beach to catch it coming up over the ocean’s horizon.  And in several other locations.  If you’re watching this on a computer put it on full screen, some of the video is really beautiful.

Sitting here watching the changing night

Beginning of the end is right on time

Capturing my hungry eyes

Springing from darkness to the burst of the day
