The Girl From Ipanema
No doubt I'm dating myself here but I always loved this tune, and decided to cover it. I'm using an Ibanez classical cutaway nylon string guitar on this, gives it a kind of latin sound...
Tall and tan, and young, and lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes
Each one she passes goes: Ah!
When she walks, she′s like a samba
That swings so cool and sways so gently
That when she passes
Each one she passes goes: Ah!
Oh, but he watch her so sadly
How can he tell her he loves her?
Yes, I would give my heart gladly
But each time when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead not at me
Tall and tan, and young, and lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, I smile
But she doesn't see
No she doesn’t see
No no no she doesn’t see me

Hey thanks for tuning in guys...here's the history:
The most internationally famous version, recorded by Stan Getz featuring Astrud Gilberto, was recorded in March 1963 and released in March 1964. This version became a worldwide hit in the mid-1960s and won a Grammy for Record of the Year in 1965.
