Start a section for only Non-Ai generated music
This is intended for the Moderator(s); I think there should be a forum for only non-Ai generated original music, no Suno stuff, only artist / person created. What do you think?

Thanks for the suggestion! It has been raised before, and the position we've reached is to treat AI generated music in the same way as lyrics only, which is to include it with all original songs. AI generated lyrics + music with only prompting is not allowed on this site.
I understand that doesn't suit everyone, but the topic has been done to death so I don't want to reopen it again at the moment.

Thanks for the clarification RainyDayMan. I didn't mean to ruffle feathers here, and yes the topic has been discussed many times on many forums. I do not fully understand what "with only prompting" means, could you perhaps enlighten me? Thanks

Sure. I mean that there are different ways to use AI. Some people only use a prompt: "Write me a song about seagulls on the wing" and the AI writes both Lyrics + Music - this isn't suitable for posting here on TSF. Prompting is its own skill, but it's not what we do here.
The other typical way to use AI is for someone to write a lyric, then give it to an AI to write music for it. People are welcome to post these on TSF. Our rule is to clearly mark it as AI generated music so that anyone who doesn't like that aspect can choose not to click on the link. They can still choose to comment on the lyric if they want.

Trust, the same trust we put in pieces submitted by those claiming not to be using Ai!
I personally leave all the wonky Ai artefacts in my songs to emphasise the fact the vocals and music were done by Ai.

Yes, trust is sufficient. There's really no incentive for people to try to be deceptive. Perhaps someone would get get a kick out of fooling people, but it seems a pretty small victory. I would also say that most members have a recognizable style to their lyrics.
