Snoflake

This is an older song of mine. I plan to re record it in the upcoming weeks with an updated setup but thought I’d share here. It is sort of an up-beat pop tune
Lyrics
Oh my little snowflake I’m looking for you
Sick of the sunlight
Too warm for frostbite
The glass not easy to see through
But still I think I can see you
Oh my little snowflake the nights are so long
Stuck in a daydream
Always the same thing
A stones throw from the palm trees
Wondering if she still loves me
(Instrumental-ish Chorus)
Think its kind of funny
I torture myself
Look at her pictures
The times I kissed her
A book I cant seem to put down
A tune I cant seem to drown out
(Lazy guitar/whistle solo)
A beacon leading to nowhere
Man the nights are so cold there

That’s super fresh , nice job man
Sounds like something Randy Newman would record1 -
Good track. Looking forward to hearing how you re-record it.

Nice imagery in the lyrics, that chorus is fresh, don't think I've heard anything like it. Cool song1

Really cool song @OutOfTowner wishing I could write like this, so sparse in words yet so meaningful and a very cool melody.
Love it!

@OutOfTowner I really like this one. Great melody line and I love the bouncing rhythm. I can imagine a big brass section kicking in on that instrumental chorus!

@OutOfTowner Really cool! I love the laid back, happy go lucky vibe of this. Reminds me of John Sebastain and The Lovin' Spoonful.
