Keep The Faith
By: Greg Snyder, Mike Pietzcker (2012)

This life isn’t easy
And certainly isn’t fair
These truths are not new to you
My friend

Just keep the faith
Keep the faith
Just keep the faith
He’ll pull you through

You’ve been battered and beaten
For what seems forever
And you just want it all to end
But giving up just isn’t who you are
I remember that amazing day when
you said
With a broken smile….

To keep the faith
Just keep faith
Keep the faith
He’ll pull me through

Look to Christ
When you feel you’ve got nothing left
Don’t lose sight
Don’t give up

‘Cause either way
Either way
‘Cause either way
He’ll pull me through

Just keep the faith
Keep the faith
Just keep the faith
He’ll pull me through

My writing, when compared to some others on this site seems to be a bit simplistic. I guess it's my style, at least at this point in my life. Seeing others lyrics on here is challenging to me to expand my own thoughts. Thanks and blessings to all who read and listen to this. Let me know what you think...

~Greg

SOUNDS GOOD, SIMPLE OR NOT IT DOESN'T MATTER YOU CAN HEAR YOUR HEART IN YOUR LYRICS AND THAT'S WHAT COUNTS. YOUR LYRICS ARE AWESOME, I'M NOT TO GOOD A JUDGE AT MUSIC, I TEND TO TONE THAT OUT AND FOCUS ON THE WORDS. KEEP IT UP!!!

Greg, I don't how I missed this one, but my apologies for not seeing it sooner. :(

First of all... you have a fantastic voice and I thoroughly enjoy hearing you sing! Secondly...no need for concern about the simplicity of your writing style. What you don't say in words you make it for it with the music and the heart you put into singing the words you do write down. I was very moved by it, but knowing you wrote it for a friend in need made it all the more touching to me.

Your words deliver a good message, Greg, thanks for sharing it with us. :)

Thank you, Greg, it was really nice of you to say this. I sometimes worry a little that people may think I'm just showing off with all these posts of mine, but this is not it at all. I truly love songwriting and love this forum and the people in it and because of these things my support is genuine. Deeply appreciated Greg.  :)

Oh! Forgot to say...I'm really, really glad you like it here and hope you will be hanging out with us for a long time to come!  :D
