Whose I am

vs.1

I may not be the greatest speaker that you've ever heard

I may not be the finest writer, dazzling with words

I may not have the worlds great riches, but I hope you see

that through my Savior I'll be singing, through eternity

chs. It's not who I am, it's Whose I am, every time I can, I will share your love

it's not who I am, it's Whose I am, Precious Lord above, you're Whose I am

bridge. Christ died and rose again, the very Son of God

now I belong to Him since i believed

I fail Him every day, yet He holds me so secure

the one and only way I'm anything

The day before Thanksgiving 2010, Mark Trammell put a post of facebook, 2 hours later, I'd written and recorded this song and sent it to him. I'm playing all the instruments and singing all 4 parts. Hope you all enjoy.

Sorry I'm so slow about respondng Chuck.  Sometimes it takes awhile for everyone o get around to listening.  But I'm glad I did.  You have a great talent and glad you joined us here on TSF.  Have patience, your talent will come shining though.  I like all of your songs and his one is no exception.

Beautiful, really. I think you have serious potential, Chuck, to be marketable in the gospel genre. IMHO. Course, it takes some tweaking to get the songs just right, but you have good parts and a structure to work with. I'd be tempted to rework the chorus a bit. Rather than mixing persons, I'd say '... every time I can, I will share His love.' And maybe finish the chorus with a rhyme, '... my life belongs to the Lord above.' Something like that. Just a suggestion. Good stuff and all the best.
