Tried soundclicks but my internet provider filters out a lot, which means so far I can't get an activation code email response.

Any other suggestions for where to put stuff for sharing/review? That's safe?

Sorry to ask such a lame question but I spent 25 years in IT back office systems where anything "out there" was our enemy :)

Most members seem to use Soundclick, Jamwave or sometimes ReverbNation. I have no knowledge of there being any security issues with any of them.

Bandcamp is another site that seems friendly at least I have had no problems there.  There hasn't been any pop up advertising - unlike SoundClick.

Loadng can be a bit slow, but even the basic (free) level allows you to load higher quality music files than many other sites  - eg. wav.

The uploading may present a problem if you are on a dial up connection, but well worth a look in my opinion.

Bandcamp is the best one I've found.  It let's people choose what quality of your songs to download (from mp3 to full wav!) and has a nice player you can embed on your site (it's what I use).

Lately a lot of these kind of sites have been disappearing.  From the once awesome but now terrible sixtyone.com to virb and amie street, they're dropping like flies! :?

Soundcloud has better features for listeners i think! They can leave comments on the part of the song they like or dislike! I think it's nifty.

I use soundcloud...strange thing...once I got a paid account all the issues I had went away...it was worth the money...it put me in contact with people all over the world...it is a HUGE place and not so easy to find just what you are looking for. I am thinking about paying for more than one account so I do not have to clutter up my finished work with work in progress.

Hi Ron! Just wanted to let you know it's always a little slow around here during the holidays. Everybody is busy, busy, busy getting ready for Christmas... and if everybody is as busy as I am right now they are meeting themselves at the door!!! lol But after the holidays things usually pick back up again and then hopefully you won't be lonely anymore. lol :D

Thank you sundown Yes The end of the year almost comes to a stop. I finished a new video and I'm finishing up a new CD as well. I'm going to figure out how to post a song on this page come what may and how to post on the general conversation board. So I'm still here! Just getting going for 2013. Be good and I'll talk to you soon! RK http://rickykay.wordpress.com/
