A DIFFERENT SPORT

Out every night chasing stray skirts

The finest hops and barley filling out your muscle shirt

An over the hill player in a young man’s game

Can’t remember the last time you scored much less her name

(CHORUS)

Maybe it’s time to take up a different sport

It’s hard to steal home wearing a back support

It’s not your fault you keep coming up short

It’s just time to find a different sport

The game ain’t the same as it was back in the day

This younger generation doesn’t know how to play

Chivalry is dead, old school rules are out too

The girls don’t appreciate a veteran warrior like you

(REPEAT CHORUS)

Check out the action at the Senior Citizen’s Center

See if they have some kind of Bingo Tournament you can enter

You might just win a night with the woman of your dreams

Sometimes old age is whole lot sexier than it seems

(REPEAT CHORUS)

Thanks to all of you for the nice words.
