Lyrics only, no music.  I wrote this about this time last year.  Our Mike wanted to try and put some music to this silly thing, but as we know he came down pretty sick and was just never able to do anything with it.

The Turkey Wobble

Chorus
Hey come on everybody
Let's do the turkey wobble
Gobble, gobble, gobble
Let's do the turkey wobble

Now old Tom's looking kind of nervous
Farmer's got his axe out
Gonna put him out of service
He's going on a diet to try and get slim
Gonna shed a few pounds
So the farmer will pass on him

Hey come on everybody
Let's do the turkey wobble
Gobble, gobble, gobble
Let's do the turkey wobble

Now his cousin Jake didn't fare so well
Tom tried to tell him
All that food was making him swell
So when Thanksgiving come rolling round
Tom started looking
And Jake was nowhere to be found

Lift
Cause he was sitting on the table
Being served by Granny Mabel

Hey come on everybody
Let's do the turkey wobble
Gobble gobble gobble
Let's do the turkey wobble

Roy, Today when I was searching my brain for a title for our Thanksgiving thread I kept having flashbacks to our  'Let's Talk Turkey' thread of last year and with those flashbacks cames images of Mike and how much fun he had on that thread and with your Turkey Wobble song. He has been heavy on my heart all day today and I would have sure loved it if he had been able to record this as I know firsthand that he really wanted too. But as you said, God had other plans for him. But it will always make me think of Mike and that's was one of the reasons I choose it as this years theme. But after what I just finished saying I now have to return to our Thanksgiving thread and make a quick change on something I said to you there. But you already know that I'm crazy about this " thing silly" and I was extremely pleased to see you pop in here so fast! So thank you. :)

Nice job on this, Roy! Thanks for re-posting this one for the Holiday! It got me in the mood. I'm really looking forward to the big 'Jake' turkey dinner this week. I may eat so much that I will have to wobble my way over to the couch and take a nap!

Enjoyed reading it, Roy!
