I bow my head instread of lifting up my eyes
to the hills wher I find my help
a moment of introspection instead of a time of prayer
I don't cry to the heavens I speak into the air

But in a moment of clarity,
I know you care
I clarity, I know you're there
In clarity I run to you

If straight it the gate and narrow is the way
that leads to light and truth
few people find it but everyone is looking
sometimes I want to make my own way too

But in a moment of clarity
I know you care
In calrity I know you're there
I n clarity, I run to you
I run to you
I run to you

Where is my pilar of fire
or my star up in the sky
because sometimes I just can't hear your voice

But in a moment of clarity
I know you care
In calrity I know you're there
I n clarity, I run to you
I run to you
I run to you
I run to you

Here's the music.... http://www.soundclick.com/acoustic356

Song title: Clarity

I mixed it poorly, the drums are WAY too hot. I think it has a lot of potential.

Very nice work Acoustic, I enjoyed the listen man. With Gospel music like that going on poor sinners like myself might be more apt to hear the message.

Have you thought of maybe in your last verse at the end adding the line..

and find the truth

I only say this cause I found myself singing that in your chorus.

I was intrigued by the lyric, so I had to give it a listen.

I have to admit the up-tempo was not what I was expecting, and I really love the chorus, it's very catchy!!

The guitar work is nice.......

I am glad you enjoyed the song and thanks for the positive feedback. This is one of those songs that just came to me. I didn't have to work at the lyrics, I just woke up with them one day.

I like the idea of adding "and find the truth" at the end of the last chorus too.

I wish all lyrics worked this way... lol

Very nice indeed. Even with the hot drums it is pleasing to the ear.

Great sound.

This is very nice, Acoustic! I like it and I think the drums sound great in it!  You also have a very nice voice and sing really well too!
