FYI-When listening to this, please keep in mind that this was purely done for the purpose of a demo, and is a "one-time unedited" take. Yes, you'll hear mess up's, but I didn't feel like redoing it at the time.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Sean, I'll try and stay in the R&B category since that really is my favorite type of music, but for some odd reason I find myself writing several different styles, especially "country" and that's really not my first choice, lol. It just kinda happens!
Now your talking! We tried to tell Sean that he would eventually be taken over by the Dark Side. One morning he will wake up and decide he is going to write a country tune. He won't know it's happening and we will all welcome him into the union. He might also "like" writing lyrics and be mesmerized by all the beer drinkin', girl chasin', apple pie, America, love it or leave it, banjo pickin', guitar strummin', fiddle playin', she done me wrong material he will have to work with......
.....Sean.....look into our eyes.......look deep into our eyes.....
UUGGH! Slow learner on this end! I just unintentionally keep screwin' things up and you keep fixing them, SORRY!
Mike, you have to be a lil more SUBTLE w/Sean or he's going to run the other way while screaming. You greatly describe "country song material",lol. When I was growing, we always made fun of country songs because they seemed to always talk about trucks, momma, or animals!! Now in my "grown up" days, I realize that's great song material, lol!

I have a lot of Marvin Gaye stuff, and Ray Charles and the list goes on and on. Several of my my favorite songs of his are "How Sweet It Is to Be loved by You", Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Nothin' Like The Real Thing". I was even around to watch all the new reports of when his father fatally shot him and also when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
Crystal, thanks for the heads up! The only thing is that my boys will probably be in bed and I'm not sure I can get to it. But, I may be able to pull it off, we'll see. Yes, my sister-in-law is actually the one who turned me on to Amos. We are always exchanging info regarding people that we like. I always enjoy "discovering" the new talent out there!
