We have all been deeply saddened by the loss of our friend and founder Mike Frisbey, but TSF WILL continue as he would have wanted.

I am currently in discussion with senior members of the forum on who and how to go forward, and shortly will need to contact Mike's family to make sure we are respecting their wishes as well.

The appointment of Troy and upgrade to Jeff's privileges are part of ensuring we have a capable team ready to continue to run and develop TSF for the benefit of all members, and in memory of our good friend.

More details to follow, but we are here to stay and will continue to run TSF in the same spirit of friendship, goodwill and constructive songwriting that Mike fostered.

See you on the boards!
Owen

Owen, it has indeed been a sad week with the news of Mike's passing. But knowing that the forum will continue on in his honor is music to our ears! Thank you very much for this information and for updating us!

Thanks Owen for the update,  I just found out of Mike's passing a few moments ago.  My heart is very sad at this time over the loss of such a fine man. He has been a blessing to many in his vision and efforts to make this program work.  I'll check back later.  Thanks again.

You know I have learned in the past that through adversity
comes innovation and I think it holds true here.

Even though Mike is not with us anymore, I think
this hardship or loss will present us with advancement.
Cuz it never fails, when one door closes ....
another one opens :) This will only make us stronger !!!

Kinda like the democrats and republicans.
They fight all the time .... but when we were
attacked on 9/11 there were no party lines
then. We were UNITED AS ONE !!!

Geez, sounds like a song title, lmao

I am very saddened by the passing of my good friend Mike. I am sorry that I have been away from the forum for such a long time. He was always an inspiration to me after joining the group. Mike was a very talented individual and a great person to know. I just came back from his website where I listened to some of his music. The Elvis classic "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You" done by Mike is really good. If you would like to listen to some of his music go to:

He also has a Soundclick site as well.

I will miss you my friend but someday we will sit down together and collab on a hit song.

Owen,

There's no better man at the helm of this ship and with your first mates Jeff and Troy I have no doubt that Mikes dream will continue and prosper! Don't ask me how, but I know he's giving you guys the thumbs up and smiling;)

John

My condolences to everyone.  My heart is heavy.  I wish I had known him better.  I only hope I can leave such a positive thing as this website behind when I go.

Oh oh oh.What can words describe that is the way I feel. Such light in the programme such class and encouraging words. May his memory be well served by the continuing classy and educational programme we have here. To his family  my deepest sympathies. Words at this time are vacant to the thoughts we posess. Sincerely John Valaire
