It was our pleasure Mike. I would also like to thank James for taking the time to do this on such a short notice. We did want to get it to you for Christmas. A couple of years ago you presented me with a Christmas present in the form of a video on One Way Ticket. I thought it was time to return the favor, and thanks to James for making this possible. You know I got to thinking this mp3 traveled from Canada, to Texas and then to Australia and ended up in Oregon. The internet highway makes all this possible. And as Roy said, thanks to Sara (Sam) for starting the fire on this one. She gave me a gentle reminder that I had agreed to take a shot at the music for this with Roy a short while ago, and it slipped my mind.
As I sit here right now watching "A Christmas Carol" with Alastair Sim (my favorite, and even though I have it on DVD, I still watch it on the tv every year) I am reminded that the best things in life is what you do for others.

Mike, these are Roys beautiful words, but they definitely say how I feel too.
Roy and James, this joint effort by the two of you has turned out one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and I deeply appreciate you guys including me while it was in the making.
Mike, once these two made up their minds that this was going to be done for you by Christmas there was no stopping them!!! It was full speed ahead until it was completed and posted, but it was a labor of love for both of them. Merry Christmas!

I came back for another listen on this one, things were kinda harem-scarem on Christmas Eve when it was posted and it was late when I finally got to hear it, so I came back for a second helping! Of course, it's just as beautiful this time as it was that time!!! A really great job on this Roy and James!
While I'm here I was wondering if I could make a request where this one is concerned! Since it's Mike's song.... and since it says so much about how all of us feel....I was wondering, Roy and James, if it would be ok to get Owen to move it to Country Lyrics so it won't get hidden away in the open mic archives. It's a very comforting song for several of us right now and I think it might possibly become comforting for others as time passes by (such as newcomers, etc.) if it's put where it can be viewed more easily. Of course, this is just a request on my part...I'm sure it will need to be run past Roy and James for approval before doing so....just thought I'd mention it.

I think Owen is already ahead of you on this. When he posted the song in Open Mic he said he would move it to a more appropriate place after this week's Open Mic so that it wouldn't get buried in the Archives.
Thanks to everyone for all their nice comments and thanks to Owen for moving this to the Gospel section and flagging it so others that come along may drop by and listen to it.
Guys, just so you know, I've always had a hard time accepting praise or kudos from others. I embarrass real easy. So don't think what you have done has gone unnoticed because it hasn't. I will treasure it always.
