I usually drag and drop but didn't on these so that may be it.  Going to try it again in a few minutes.  However, there are going to be times that I will need to align tracks, so I'm still baffled on that one.

Make sure you pull them all the way over to the left as far as you can, Dennis.  Also make note where you dragged them from because that's where they're going to link from.  Meaning that if you change the location of that file and you go to rework the mix later, the file won't show up in the project.  The way I do it is I create a folder when I start a project and link everything from there so the program knows where the files are.

Let me know how you're coming along and I will help you with every step.  Also, the forum on Acoustica's website is EXCELLENT!  Post any concern there and somebody will help you in a timely and friendly manner.

Just found this thread too. I've had Acoustica Mixcraft for just over a year now and I really like it. Very, very user friendly. I had Sonar Home Studio and had a horrible time with it. I know a lot of people do great with it, but I don't know "studio" terminology. Don't have the skills of a sound engineer. I needed something that literally says "push here to record." Mixcraft is exceptionally easy to work with and you can be recording a song with an afternoon or less....Good thread.
