Mike can you post an mp3 or send it to me to my email? I'd like to play around with the chorus and some harmonies...
Vlad, will do as soon as I can get a verse done I like. I have changed the lyrics again and will see how this one works as soon as I can record.
I'm going to go update the lyrics again in my last post and then will also update the music post. The music posted won't follow the lyrics until I can get another track done.
I can extend and add more length to the song too so everything is kind of a work in progress.

New mix posted with the current lyrics (almost) under it. I had to mix in headphones so some aspects may be off.

Oh heck, why let a little contest get in your way....LOL!!
You gave me the idea for the hook so I made it "Visions In The Night Sky". I'm still refining those first verses a bit....coming along just fine.
PS: I had to take the ping-pong off the drum track because I heard something and now I found it. The drum track somehow slipped a bit and is slightly out of sync. Not sure what happened but I will fix it for the next mix.

Vlad I got your e-mail. Take a look at the simplified refrain that I came up with. I used the harmony processor and didn't take much time to dial in anything really good. It would be neat to have CLEAR vocal harmonies there. As soon as we have the verses down nice and refined I'll send a mix, then you can do the chorus (refrain), send it back to me as a WAV file and I will incorporate it into the mix.
Large .WAV files can be sent to me using http://www.yousendit.com. Use the e-mail address of mgfrizb@mgfmusic.com
I'll edit the first post and get your name on the copyright.

Owen, thanks. Yeah Vlad had some ideas and when I get a chance to work on this again, I will try and incorporate a lift or bridge or something. I was thinking about it last night as I was trying to get the forum back up. Perhaps I might do something creative....LOL!

I can’t account for, lost hours I can’t track
What are all those little round, red circles on my back
my thoughts keep spinning, there’s demons in my head
How did I end up here a trembling, in my bed

Rick, I'm still working on the first verses and refrain. Every time I write something I like I turn around and change it again. I need to get a better feel for the song to determine the direction it should go. I'm thinking sort of mystical, not really sure. For some reason I can't get the Three Dog Night song "Momma Told Me Not To Come" out of my head. Your verse above may work as I get to refining more. I'm at over 2 minutes now. Below is the last rewrite.
Outside the city limit, past clover fields of red
there in the twilight something up ahead
Can’t be the whiskey, I ain’t touched a drop all night
but man I ain't never ever seen me such a sight
Visions in the night sky
come and have a good time
Will leave you wondering why
them visions in the night sky
That thing got motion and twisted off the ground
Defying gravity and left without a sound
I don’t believe I ever caught their name
Just repressed memories burned into my brain
Visions in the night sky
never said goodbye
Will leave you wondering why
them visions in the night sky

Everyone, I just got done at the dentist office and will not be able to sing the updated lyrics for this today. As soon as I feel up to it I will knock another version off.

Hang in there Bro. Remember loose lips, sink space ships. I know it's not funny right now, but it may be even less funny after I think about it. Sorry Bro. hope you get better real soon.

Hey smart move there going to the dentist. The metal they put in your teeth messes with the aliens radio transmissions I'm told. Your one of the last people I want to see getting abducted.

OK, I'm back...can't keep me down for long.
Rick my man, you are in the credits. Check out the bridge. That is what I needed to cap it off.
I just have to redo the music now to fit.
