My musical mentor, Andrew Gold, once told me that if I wanted to create a catchy song I would have to sing “whoa” as often as possible. His big hits (Bridge To Your Heart and How Can This Be Love) are full of whoas. In my song “Memory Lane” I followed his advice. It’s a pity Andrew can’t hear the song. Sören Skarback from Sweden contributed the lyrics. Linda Beringmeier made it come to life with her awesome vocal performance. Many thanks to her. I recorded all the instruments myself and gave the music a hint of Coldplay.

Hi Rob,
Vocals are really good!!!
The melody is so hip, I love it!
You are right, there a bunch of whoas, on this song!!!
It feels like I am in a Broadway show.
Great work on this song!!!
Congratulations!
Rene

Loving this. Fabulous vocals. As RDM says, very polished pop feel. I can't fault this in any way cos I really like it. It's strange because, although this is a modern song, it kinda reminds me of Buggles 'Video Killed the Radio Star' from way back. Not the voice but the general vibe. That's a compliment btw as I always liked that song.
