Very well written. I think that could do very well in a contemporary christan format. I thought the chorus was very strong. You should shop that song.

Thanks for your comments, both of you.  I am shopping it - shopping like crazy but haven't had any luck yet.  I had one publisher who has signed one of my songs tell me that it was a good song but he wasn't signing any more songs until after the first of the year and he told me the same thing - shop it around. Still trying though - haven't given up yet. .

:):)Well, the publishing contract is in the mail to me.  Finally found a publisher that knows a good song when they hear it. :):)  Now, I will really give her a smiley face when she gets it recorded.

How old did you say you were?  I started to say you can sing Our Little Girl but then I got to thinkin you are way too young for that song.  You are more closer to being the rebellious teenage daughter than being the mother of one.  Maybe we can put it in the archives and you can think about it ten years from now.  lol.  I wish I could write one for you as good as the one Gretchn has out now I Don't Feel Like Loving You Today.  Now that's a killer song. Susan Jefferies and Shelli has some good stuff going on.  Maybe you ought to touch base with them.

I'm glad for you Roy and it shows the whole world hasn't gone soft in the head. When great lyrics and a great tune and good croonin'don't make people wanna stomp their feet and sing. Well then that hot place down there just brought in air conditioning.
