It stopped snowing again
The grass is growing again
And it needs mowing again
I’m seeing green

Get out the old John Deere
I really like it here
When it’s becoming clear
That we’re in Spring

Up come the daffodils
I’m getting tulip thrills
And hear the sparrows trill
A pair of doves coo

Time to get bicyclin’
See everybody pedallin’
Nature is revelin’
Everything is renewed

 I really like this. The simple structure and feel is a good match to the mood of the lyric.

Likely a song for a really pared back instrumentation - maybe just guitar and vocals.

You might consider putting a bridge in after:
Everything is renewed
just to provide a little variation before returning to your verse to finish.

 The shower is where I come up with most of my song ideas. They kind of pop out of nowhere.
This morning, I got inspired to write another verse
"I think it’s kind of odd
That some folks think of God
When color comes back to the sod
And dandelions bloom"

I think it might actually be too controversial for what has been, so far, an easy going song. I also haven't thought of a good answering verse yet.

 Fits with what you've already got. And it's not heavy handed with the references to God. I don't think it will put many off.

Do you ever do open mics or anything like that? If so, you could try it out on an audience and see how they react.

 I host a weekly sing around on Zoom. That’s where most of my songs get sung before they retire for posterity.
Open mics sometimes but…Covid….you know.

 At last nights sing around we had a few Christian’s, Jews and Unitarians. They all seemed to like it. Or they were polite. When I’m in my right mind, I don’t pay attention to reaction. It’s important that I write for myself.

 Not sure about the new Bridge/Chorus.
The first two lines don't seem to be saying much
and the last two feel like they are from a different song.
It feels like it refers to a bad relationship and there's been no hint of that up till this point.
I think it is stronger with the focus just on Spring and how he's feeling about that.
