Chris,
just outstanding! As soon as it started I knew I was going to love it.
Fantastic groove, you hit this one out of the park. Great mix and the musical and vocal performances are top notch as they always are from you. Love the organ. It that a Halion Sonic instrument preset or something else?
My only on suggestion is on how you ended it. It's like it drops off a cliff and it left me saying "whaatt?!!? Where'd the music go?" Maybe a slow fade out on the repeating last line or the chorus would fit the groove better.
Well done, great collab! You did the lyric justice for sure! Sounds like contest material to me!!

Chris, catchy tune with a solid bass in the backing track. Love the guitar break. Nicely sung, too. Don't give up on the abrupt ending too soon ... it might make it stand out!

Thanks Kevin, I really appreciate your comments. I'm in two minds about the ending which probably means I'll leave it as it is! I know what Dominick means but, listening again a day on, I kind of like the way it ends on 'All I Know'.

Hi Paulina, Hope you are well. Sorry about the broken link. Nelly asked me to take it down as she is thinking about releasing the song commercially and I gather she can't do that if it's up on one of the free platforms. I don't know how these things work as I've never considered doing this with my solo songs. Last edited on Sat Apr 10th, 2021 03:09 pm by ChrisPrice

Wish I had heard it when I could. I hope I hear it one the radio one day soon. Good luck to you both!
Should I lock this thread for now?

Should I lock this thread for now? Hi Andrea, Maybe you should lock the thread for now. Nelly fancied giving it a try and she has my support. If I'm honest I have no idea how this will pan out but I'm certainly going to carry on posting my songs here.
