Happy New Year members!
I thought it would be nice to have another contest. Love is a wonderful topic, so Valentine's Day is the perfect opportunity to hold another competition.
There will be categories for lyrics only and lyrics & music just like the Holiday Contest.
The dates will be as follows:
1/23-2/09 - Entries accepted
2/10-2/13 - voting
2/14 winners annouced
This timeframe gives everyone a little over 5 weeks to prepare and enter.
**I would like to get a sense if there is interest for this competition and future competitions. Please take a moment to complete the anonymous poll. You can choose more than one answer in the poll, so please check ALL the boxes that apply.
If there is something that you would like to see different this time around, or have a suggestion for an improvement, please leave a reply in this thread.

I didn't see a choice for "music only" for us poor old musicians who can't make a complete sentence and have to rely on smart lyricist's to help us out and do the hard work!

Hi Moptop, I thought about this a little. Maybe I could set up a thread just for contest collabs? I know we have a collab section, but I think a specific one for each contest might be helpful. This would benefit the lyricists too  Thoughts?
