I think this turned out beautifully. I love your melody. I am so happy you found a perfect lyric to fit. I reallly like the whole package.

Nicely done.
Did you do the vocals?
The recording mix is really good.
The lyrics kind of left me hanging, unless I missed something.
Did soldier blue make it home or not? Did he not intend to settle down with her?

The guy went off to war even though he told his girl they would settle down. He thought she would forget him, move on etc but he found out when he got home that he was wrong. Thanks Geoff Matthews

I've worked with Geoff on several projects and yes he is a very gifted lyricist.
This is wonderful....excellent vocalist and musical performances are top notch. Mix is pro all the way.
