(Am)Somethings wrong in my head
(C)Just don’t feel the same
(Am)Felt fine when I went to bed
(E) Is the drinkin’ to (Am) blame

(Am) Confused as to where I am
(C) Who took me home last night
(Am) Visions like a hologram
(E) Oh such a beautiful (Am) sight

(D) Stands a man in long white robe
(E) just can’t see his face
(D) feel welcome in his home
(E7) You can feel his heavenly (Am) grace

(Am) Spent my life worried and scared
(C) Never felt good enough
(Am) But up here my soul is bared
(E) my church was a devils bluff

(D) Stands a man in long white robe
(E) So much light can’t see his face
(D) I feel welcome in his home
(E7) You can feel his (A) heavenly grace

I like this. It's an interesting twist on overindulging.

"Somethings wrong in my head
Just don’t feel the same
Felt fine when I went to bed
Is the drinkin’ to (Am) blame"

Since he is in a better place, line 3 seems a bit odd that he felt fine when he went to bed.

I would like to hear this with music :)

Thanks. It is the next morning, he felt fine when he went to bed, now he is confused as to where he is. He is dead. Who took him home (heaven) everything looks different. Beautiful. He sees Jesus but not his face, he feels at home. He never thought he would qualify for heaven but yet here he is.

I will be recording it next week, I look forward to your opinion.

It's a really nice sentiment. Your lyrics are short and to the point and set the scene very well. I'm glad the narrator found forgiveness in the end. And I like that included the chords so we can get a sense of what it should sound like. Well done ☺

I get that he is dead. It just seems to me he was not fine when he went to bed (he was drunk enough keel over).

Very well put together and I see you have melody and harmony to go with this one. It expresses the idea of gods love for all and that its not true that certain things barre you from drinking with god like the church warns. I would like to know even more about the idiosyncratic way this particular soul is absorbing this knowledge in light of everyone's regular existential obliviousness to what happens, why, how, where ... all the glorious points of interest. Cheers

Ah ok, so you are asking the enteral question of what is life and what does it mean. Why are we here? Where do we go? I could write a song about that.

Stay tuned, I've been wanting to express that one.

(Am)Somethings wrong in my head
^^^^^ maybe "inside" rather than "in" if it will fit.

(E) Is the drinkin’ to (Am) blame
Maybe "drink" would sing better?

(E) just can’t see his face
^^^^ is this a symbol for something?

(E) So much light can’t see his face
^^^^^ ok, I get it now, but you might consider building on the idea of not being able to see His face. Then you could explain it in a bridge or something. For example, maybe he can't see His face because he isn't totally dead yet or something.
