If it’s the thrill of the hunt The chase that you want, I’m game In the darkness of night when we make love I’ll have you calling out my name Every lingering thought has got me caught up In another time another place One where we’ll get the chance to meet up And I can tell you face to face I wanna see you Hold you Touch you Show you Just how much farther we can fall You know I want you I need you I can’t go on without you There’s still so much farther we can fall There’s still so much farther we can fall There’s a big love in a small town That still hasn’t got around to bein’ And everyone that knows them knows exactly Exactly what they’re seein’ So should our time ever come I won’t run Cause I still believe in What’s meant to be will always be forever And that’s what’s got me thinkin’ I wanna see you Hold you Touch you Show you Just how much farther we can fall You know I want you I need you I can’t go on without you There’s still so much farther we can fall There’s still so much farther we can fall There’s a slow dance for old friends A second chance at romance We only have to tear down the walls So tomorrow I guess I’ll take the first step And finally make the call Cause I wanna see you Hold you Touch you Show you Just how much farther we can fall You know I want you I need you I can’t go on without you There’s still so much farther we can fall There’s still so much farther we can fall Copyright © Michael P Dudash 2020 |

I like it Mike! Less plaintive and more assertive. Definitely got some energy to it. I can imagine it singing well. I really like those opening lines. There's a strong rhythm to them. You might adjust those after the chorus to match: There’s a big love in town That hasn’t got around to bein’ of course that only fits how I hear it my head! And I like the shorter lines in the chorus. Nice contrast and offers the singer room to move. Good stuff. |

I like it but (hey I'm just saying) lines 3, 5 and 21 need a second look. |
