At my age, I'm not looking to sell any lyrics or expect any chance of being discovered for my playing and singing. What I do expect is to continue to transition from my background in poetry into lyrics. As a matter of fact, I'll go as far to say songs are just poetry with bridges and choruses accompanied by musical instruments.

I started back in 2009. I must say what I didn't have then was the understanding of structure. I got very sick back then and only recently started playing and writing again. Now, for me, I use several forms (through discovery)(rhyming conventions) of the verse, bridge and chorus.

I look forward to writing more poetry in motion and basically telling as many interesting stories as I can.

And I'll reply that songs are music, with a few words added for flavour. ;)
