First Class Western Suit

https://youtu.be/vNY-HfZIFaA

I was the real deal
Not dressed up play
like these cowboys today
I'm not saying I'm right
It's just a thought of mine
When compared it's night and day

They drive four wheel drives
I'd ride a horse
After a few
cold brews
Their all words of course
And .....................

(Chorus)

.They tell me I'm too old
To put on western wear
The Thought brought me to tears
I'm going to forget about age
And relive my younger days
I'll find a western store somewhere

I'll get some wrangler jeans
And some new cowboy boots
But I won't buy my shirts off the rack
I'll drive around
each side of town
Until I find a new cowboy hat
And then................

(Chorus)

Bridge:
I think I'll hook up
I need a two-step partner
Someone I can spin
If I try a little harder
And ............

(Chorus)

It's A big to-do
Wearing a first class western suit
Nothing feel better than that
(End)

---------Chorus -------------------------------
I was a hell raiser (2nd pass--I'll be )(3rd pass--I'll be hell raisen)
I drank whiskey chasers (2nd pass- I'll drink)(3rd pass-I'll be whiskey chasin)
I wore pressed wrangler jeans (2nd pass-I'll wear)(3rd pass-I'll be wearing)

I wore cowboy boots (2nd pass-I'll wear )(3rd pass- I'll be wearing)
Fitted shirt and hat too
Hell, with the belt
It's a first class western suit

There's something about boot leather
And jeans they go together
With a fitted shirt and cowboy hat
It's a big to-do
Wearing a first class western suit
Nothings feels better than that

Nice to see this one back with music!
Your style and voice really "suit" this song.
Very enjoyable :)

It took so many takes to record because of the past tense, looking forward and the present tense in the chorus. I screwed up and sang "words" instead of "talk" . it works ok though when I perform it I'll use "talk"

Thanks for listening...

I like this story. It's fun and enjoyable.
These lines are great:
"There's something about boot leather
And jeans they go together"

Sound, structure, rhythm, melody... Nailed It! I think this is your best so far. Which reminds me, I've run out of saddle soap :)
