My new song "Multiply Our Love", inspired by the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fish.
Sung together with a group of volunteer friends (4 Germans and 1 American) at the Monastery of Tabgha, the place of the miracle, where I lived for 3 months and where I also shot the video. Apart from one girl that sings very well, we were all improvised singers and I must say that my friends did very well, but above all it was a very beautiful experience of friendship and sharing in the Lord. This was the main value, I do understand that the singing is the weak part. I used the pitch correction heavily but doesn't make miracles. I sang the last 2 choruses.
All the guitars are made with the same classic guitar even the distorted solo. I was told the solo is too extravagant for the genre...I asked help to edit the lyrics to an american friend and he told were fine. Another friend after the release told me there are not grammar errors but unusual phrases a native speaker wouldn't use. The last 2 choruses are busy, I am happy of it and this is willingly. But I am not really happy of the mix, I would love to achieve more clarity and separation. I hear still some harshness too here and there. Any constructive comment is appreciated.

If you want to read the story of the song or download it in HD go to my blog where you find the Soundcloud and Spotify links

surprisingly the song had more than 2000 streams on Spotify. I didn't do any serious promotion but was included in some playlists by some listeners. I was shocked when I have seen my song in a playlist just below a song of the Rolling Stones!!! I tell just to encourage all of you guys....even our imperfect productions can be loved by people in a way we wouldn't expect.
Multiply our love
Here to love and to begin
An image of you within
Wasn’t casual really not
You led us here you alone
Where we met each other what a surprise
To find we are one heart with you, among us
We ’ll never loose all who’s born between us
What if we tremble for now
We are leaving but you precede us to another shore
Multiply loaves and fish
We have nothing but you Lord
Awesome miracles will show
Multiply our love
Is a river that will never cease to flow
Is this lake that soon enough will overflow
In a while will overflow
Here to love and to ensure
That your children may rejoice and turn to you
All the poor, who’s in need
May find us as greater friends and heart’s relief
As soon as we love each other what a surprise
To find we are one heart with you, among us
We’ll never loose all who’s born between us
What if we are so full of joy
For we are together and you precede us to another shore
Multiply loaves and fish
We have nothing but you Lord
Awesome miracles will show
Multiply our love
Is a river that will never cease to flow
Is this lake that soon enough will overflow
In a while will overflow
Multiply loaves and fish
We have just a few little ones
But you look to another thing
You want to see our faith, our love
You want to strengthen us toward the other shore
To the next side where you already wait us even more
Where we’ll meet surely again
To multiply our loveLast edited on Tue Sep 1st, 2020 11:24 am by Nothingless

It's too easy to be a critic my friend! This obviously took a lot of effort and I won't nit-pic something that I couldn't have done myself

Such a beautiful message. I love how different people came together to deliver this song. I enjoyed seeing in the video the people who took part. That made it all feel so real. The music was very nice too. Thanks for sharing

Nice song. Chord progressions are a bit generic and I feel the chorus is a little long... although if you're going for a more ethereal feel, then it's good
