|All the Love in the World
Her mom and dad wouldn’t give up the whiskey
They just left her all alone
A man went into the shelter
And told her he would bring her home
She thought no one loved her
And that she would always feel sad
But he came along
And gave her the family she never had
He changed her life
She won’t have to worry, won’t have to cry
He’ll stay by her side
He said, “Baby girl, trust and believe in these words.
I’ll give you all the love in the world.”
She hugs her teddy bear at night
And she dreams sweet dreams
Pushing her on the swing
Teaching her to ride a bike
She knows he’ll never leave
|I lov the story
Not too much—just barely enough and that’s fine
Mystery about the connection between them. That’s fine too
I’m sure your music and singing will be better than fine
Good job. Good song about good people making a difference
|One to pull on the heart strings.
It's a bit too sweet for me personally, but I reckon there's a large audience out there that would eat it up.
|This is a sweet and emotional story. For me, I think it would be more impactful it there were names instead of "she" and "a man".
