Copyright Mac Wilkey 2020 All My Ex’s Send Me Text’s Chorus: All my ex’s send me text’s With images that once Were very dear to me All my ex’s send me text’s Texts I can block but not The memories Barbara’s texts are from Las Vegas Showing me the bridal suite Joni sends me love and kisses Says they’ve not had time to eat Linda’s pictures show Niagra And the hunk she’s fallen for Then there’s Tammy in Miami Says she hopes it rains some more Repeat Chorus I’d heard rumors they’d remarried But I didn’t have to see All the good times they were having Now that they weren’t part of me Doctor says I’m in denial But the texts they send to me Show me all the love I’m missing I can’t block those memories Repeat Chorus |

That's a clever and catchy hook! I like it! The whole song is good fun and bounces along nicely. I particularly like the "bridal suite" reference. Perhaps what she was looking for? Lots intimated without needing to be said. In these two lines: All the good times they were having Now that they weren’t part of me you might switch to the present tense to match the rest of the song. And the "part of me" feels just slightly off. Maybe: All the good times they are having; or All the good times that they're having Now that they're not loving me |

Thanks RDM. I’ll use your suggestion. Also thinking a bout leaving ex’s txts out and making it a brand new lyric. A friend said the reference was kinda funny but he’s divorced and I think the lyrics struck a chord with him |

Hey, MAS... This is cute! Damn those exes. I wrote a lyric, kinda long, called, Exes. Same theme but a bit more torturous. Check it out. Charles |

Overall nice! I have to agree the last line of the chorus doesn't quite site right, maybe a little rework there might be in order? |

Verse after chorus was what RDM critiqued. Anyway, you should realize that the guy misses his exes. He’s not running away from them like “in Texas” song Thanks for reading. Still waiting on someone to sing it. Be glad to “fix” it to your satisfaction |

Chords? No. I’m not proficient at all on the music side. I just know how the original goes and wrote as close to that as I could. I can rewrite to a melody If someone can hum it or na na na it. |

I wrote a parody of George straits. All My Exes Live in Texas. You can find chords by entering “chords for all my exes live in Texas”. There are several versions available. If you want to make your own version you have my permission to use my lyrics. Just give me credit for lyrics I’ll be happy as long as I can say I wrote the words. Also I’ll be glad to revise words if you want me to. |

Love this! Two slightly rough spots: "Texts I can block but not The memories" (Not sure how to balance this with the meter you set.. hmmm. Maybe take out "the"??) I can't block those memories -> "Can't block those memories" (cleans up the meter) SWJ |

Now that's funny haha. Well done! My first song lyric ever was a parody of the bartender song ("bartender, I really did it this time..."), so I can always appreciate a good parody. I thought the replacement lyrics flowed very nicely, I could just picture George Strait singing about all his exes texting him hehe. |
