Started out with a completely different title, but the verses didn’t fit so I changed the title to fit the verses and it came out right. CMA

My Love For You Is Always There

Verse 1:
I’m always there for you when you call
And your eyes tell me I belong
Why be tied to him, you can pull away
Don’t say there’s no hope for us at all
Let’s dance as if our love is a song
And bring to life what’s now an untold play

Chorus:
Doesn’t matter if the world is rearranged
Or if the years stay the same or change
If the Earth’s in complete disrepair
My love for you is always there
And if folks turn away say we don’t belong
Or if history says we were downright wrong
What the future holds, I just don’t care
My love for you is always there

Verse 2:
I bring your things, walk you to your car
And your smile shows what’s in your heart
Why fight yourself, allow our love to soar
Don’t say, ‘no, we are just what we are’
Give us a chance to make our own start
Set our hearts ablaze, open up love’s door

Chorus:
Doesn’t matter if the world is rearranged
Or if the years stay the same or change
If the Earth’s in complete disrepair
My love for you is always there
And if folks turn away say we don’t belong
Or if history says we were downright wrong
What the future holds, I just don’t care
My love for you is always there

Bridge:
Recall the days we roamed the ocean beach
When your pup got tangled in his leash
I know you wanted me to be with you all night
But it’s best we skirt the bite of the morning light
We know our hearts will be forever paired
How our perfect love’s meant to be spared

Chorus:
Doesn’t matter if the world is rearranged
Or if the years stay the same or change
If the Earth’s in complete disrepair
My love for you is always there
And if folks turn away say we don’t belong
Or if history says we were downright wrong
What the future holds, I just don’t care
My love for you is always there

(Instrumental)

Chorus:
Doesn’t matter if the world is rearranged
Or if the years stay the same or change
If the Earth’s in complete disrepair
My love for you is always there
And if folks turn away say we don’t belong
Or if history says we were downright wrong
What the future holds, I just don’t care
My love for you is always there

Post chorus:
Oh, oh, my love for you is always there

Minor: what the future holds not hold (in the chorus)

This is your best in my opinion. Breaking in not breaking up which is so hard to do.

Charles, great imagery. “But it’s best we skirt the bite of morning light” downright awesome line! Nicely done!

Thanks, MAS for the correction and your accolades. I let my heart guide me through, once I got the flow of it.

Thank you, Mike... Always appreciate your comments. I worked one that line a while to get it right.

This song would be perfrct for my idols, Rascal Flatts. They're the kings of amazing Country-Pop love songs! Great job!

Looking at this again , I’d drop the last two lines of the bridge or find a way to end with the bite of the morning light

👍

Thanks, JD... It’d be great to have a group like Rascal Flatts sing it. Glad you like it.

Thanks, MAS for the suggestion... But taking away is easy, adding is hard. I’ll let the collaboration with myself, the composer and singer make that decision. Those two lines are important to me. Appreciate your input.
