Who remembers Live Aid? 13th July 1985 - the greatest music event of my lifetime. The greatest music event ever?

As a big fan of Status Quo - who opened the LiveAid show - I clearly remember that day.

Can you imagine playing that gig?

I still remember Phil Collins leaving Wembly to catch a Concord to fly to the States so he could also perform in the concert at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia.

Yep, it was a great event!

...and July 13th is also my wedding anniversary!

Yep, Queen crushed it.

Quite a lineup in general:

Just a few:

Elton John, Queen, Madonna, Santana, Run DMC, Sade, Sting, Bryan Adams, the Beach Boys, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Duran Duran, U2, the Who, Tom Petty, Neil Young and Eric Clapton
