Hello all,
I hope you are all doing well. I've been experimenting with a two-track recording process and while I felt like I was in an "I Love Lucy" episode, I'm putting this out there anyway. This new song is about tumbling to new beginnings. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

https://youtu.be/sloOE9pIVjw

We’ve got the world in store
Let’s slide it through the open door and sing
Something in tune with the moon
Shining oh so bright this spring
We’re tumbling, day of reckoning
Time’s on our side, it’s a new beginning, let’s take a ride

Take your pen and paper and draw a bridge to a higher line and then
Sip a julep as your hammock sways there and back again
Mood is high and sunlight starts to glow
Watering dreams and watching them grow

Let’s jump from the moon to the stars
‘Til we grab that ring our ours
Shoots are growing high like towers
Opening like flowers
We’re tumbling, to a new beginning
We’re tumbling, to the other side

Finding shamrocks in herby patches, luck is our side
Play your flute and let your native drumbeat sing, far and wide
Woodland realms waiting to begin
Branches open wide, reaching for the sun, it’s on our side

Let’s jump from the moon to the stars
‘Til we grab that ring our ours
Shoots are growing high like towers
Opening like flowers
We’re tumbling, to a new beginning
We’re tumbling, to the other side

White wizard shows us a brand new day
Wooden staff leads us along the way

Let’s jump from the moon to the stars
‘Til we grab that ring our ours
Shoots are growing high like towers
Opening like flowers
We’re tumbling, to a new beginning
We’re tumbling, to the other side

It's been a strange day today and this really cheered me up. The message I get from this song is very positive. I can't criticise this in any way because it's unique and it's special. Thanks for sharing this Paulina:)

Some lovely imagery and phrasing in this one:
Something in tune with the moon
Watering dreams and watching them grow
Shoots are growing high like towers
Opening like flowers

and I very much like the chord modulation at:
We’re tumbling (Mood is high, Woodland realms ...etc)

It's such a positive song! 'Tumbling' somehow didn't feel like the spirit of it, but you may disagree there.

Enjoyed it! :)

Thank you, Rainy Day. I appreciate your thoughts. I was inspired by my walks in the park, by my friend's new garden and by Lord of the Rings, Two Towers. Tumbling has the aspect of a little bit of chaos/uncertainty mixed with amazing tumbling skills of gymnasts or tumbling stones to make them polished. In other words, this time period may not feel that great, but it's all for our betterment. :)

It's quirky - I like it.

The production could be tidied up a little, but the lyrics, to me at least, are so creative. I couldn't imagine coming up with something like that - I'm just too boring!

Hi Secret Meaning, thank you, yes, I'm quirky. This is my first attempt at a two-track recording and it was challenging, to say the least. I'll keep at it and hope to improve on all fronts.

Miss Paulina,

Your song is wonderful! I enjoyed this very, very much! I love melody that you created for this. It's simple but it catches your interest and keeps it throughout the entire song...and then stays with you long after it's done playing! The lyric story is very happy and full of life... YAY!! I love the descriptive way you put it together.

Very cute and warm song! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It made my day!

Wow, thank you Moptop! Your comments made my day! We have a Beatles connection and I consider them my teachers. Hope you are well and looking forward to listening to more of your songs. :)

This is very creative all around. The lyrics take me on a happy ride through time and space. What a lovely whimsical song.
