Hope every here and their loved ones are still safe and healthy.

Here in the middle of the country we still doing okay with less than a 100 cases in my county. Unfortunately the state ordered stay at home order expires May 3rd So I will be required to return to work on the Monday the 4th. Not happy about but I still need a job. My wife wants to wrap me in one of those big plastic bubble suits before I go into any customers home. I wouldn't mind it but it would be hard to work on any appliance suited up like that. I'm wondering how I'm going to do it while wearing gloves. Just have to extra careful.

Take care everyone.

Very best of luck to you Dominick!

Gloves can give you a false sense of security. You feel safer, then forget and touch your face or handle your phone etc. They really only work if you are changing them after each discrete activity. Monotonous washing your hands is your best defense!

Hi Dominick, heading back to work - good and bad. Your town sounds pretty safe, but I am with your wife. I just checked my county and we are at 3000 active cases - it has increased so much lately. I worry too if my husband will have to go back to work after May 15. I pray not. The county he works in has 30,000 active cases, which is very scary. I told him I want him to wear a hazmat suit!

Buy lots of cleaners, masks and gloves! Don't touch your face before you wash your hands. Sorry, I have become a little wash crazy! But, so far as I know today, I am healthy. Hoping to stay that way. I hope you and your family stay healthy as well :)

Yep, I'm with you...if I can find that stuff anywhere! My company is having a hard time finding anyplace that has those items in stock right now, especially gloves, masks, and sanitizers, the three things we need the most. All I can do is stay aware and do everything on my end to protect myself and hope and pray for the best. If things get too dicey I can always take early retirement since I'm 62. It would not put in the best financial position but I could manage.

Stay safe and the best to all of you!

Our government is making noises about a gradual lifting of restrictions. But, with over 600 UK citizens dying yesterday, a total of over 30,000, it's hard to see how anything much can change here yet. Our government was very slow to react to the virus, and our lockdown has not been enforced anywhere near strictly enough. Hence the appalling figures. Our health service is on it's knees at the moment.

So said, we're doing alright in our area, touch wood. I'm not aware that anyone has fallen victim locally, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. This is a small island with a large population so it's never going to be far away.

As an older guy, I only work part-time now, but not during the crisis. I want to resume work but will only do so when I feel it is safe and that time is not now. I feel very lucky to have that choice. The same applies to live gigging. I really miss it but it's not happening any time soon.

We will recover from this but, in this country, it's going to be some time yet.

I wish everyone, everywhere well.
Stay Safe:)

Hey all, been quite some time. I’ve been lucky enough to be considered essential and have actually been busier than normal thru all of this. Thankfully I have very limited interactions with people on a daily basis. Hope you all stay well and hope to be around more going forward.
