A local buddy of mine challenged me, over the course of the next year, to write 12 songs in 12 months, in any genre, either lyrics only or with music, each song's subject matter must be related to or appropriately consistent with the month that it depicts.

I had originally planned to wait until January to make a full New Year thing out of it, however, I realized that some people wanting to do this, may already be writing Christmas/holiday songs for December and it would be a great way to get a head start on it.

Ill be doing the challenge and of course collabs are welcomed and encouraged . I hope to see what everyone comes up with. While some months have built in holidays which make good subject matter, some months may prove to be more challenging. I think it will be a fun way to add to your catalog...we're gonna write anyway...so...

Id love to have you guys join me on this 1 a month challenge. Look forward to seeing what everyone thinks.and indeed comes up with.

Bunny

Bunny,

I would be interested in working with you on one or two projects. Let Me know the what's, where's, and when's.

Hey B, I wanted to ask you, in your avatar, I think I see a Gibson 335 studio dot, I'm a correct? I have an Epi 335 dot and use it a lot in my songs! One fine instrument.

I wish. Its an Epi...got a strat and a gold top LP, but that pawn shop Epi is still my go to electric, plays like butter. The acoustics are a D35 (84 i think) and a new Guild OM 240 CE. Which still needs the action adjusted but the sound is to die for. Thanks for asking.

Hmmm! Guild! I'm sure that sound is killer!..a and a Martin! Love their sound too. I have a couple of strat's, a plus deluxe and a squire....and I don't have an LP but I can raise you a 56 Gretsch Duo Jet! My Acoustics are a 70's law suit Takamine, a Washburn D17SCE, and I recently got a Seagull 12 string.

Well Bunny, I love a challenge. I will give it a go. Looks like Veterans Day or Thanksgiving for November.

I am always up for a collab with someone too.
