When you think the worlds against you
you can't find the strength to carry on
you gotta dig a little deeper
find answers when you had none

so keep hope in your heart
and don't you ever forget
impossible is just a word
for something thats not happened yet

It's easy to give up on your dreams
when there's hurdles in your way
what seemed so hard the day before
may all change today

so keep hope in your heart
and don't you ever forget
impossible is just a word
for something thats not happened yet

you may find the answer
in a place you never thought
but it will never be found
if its never sought

so keep hope in your heart
and don't you ever forget
impossible is just a word
for something thats not happened yet

Some lovely lines here Alan! These ones caught my eye:

impossible is just a word
for something thats not happened yet

but it will never be found
if its never sought

A very positive message! I seem to end up writing more sad songs than happy, though I would call myself a happy person. Not sure how that works!

As a minor thing you might swap when>where in this line:
find answers when you had none
I think "where" goes better with "find"

Nice!

Hey Alan,
This is a well done lyric! And good advise for us hopeless ones. My single suggestion is to change the title to “Just A Word.” Good work!

Charles

Alan, I like the lines mentioned above as well. It didn’t take the turn I looked for from the title. Nice work.
