As spoken in the book of Acts, the power of God on high
To touch the hearts and minds of Men, on him we can rely
The day up in the upper room, in languages of Earth
for every tribe and nation got the message of great mirth

The loving joy of Spirit, of a Holy God on high
Spoke a great revelation, the land where we'll never die
For Holy God is reaching to this planet here below
To give a hope of righteousness to cleanse the World below

From every sin and sorrow that so easily besets
Us from the great tomorrow that before us God has set
When we reach out to God, receive that power from on high
the word of God has come to us and asks us to draw nigh

Reject the powers of darkness that do hinder us below
Reach out to loving master and receive his love that flows
The languages are spoken right down here on Earth below
Receive the Holy Spirit and in him you'll fully grow

The loving basic message that our God does speak to me
Is that our Savior Christ has come to fully set us free
To give us life abundant, from the Spirit in the sky
For if you fully trust in Christ, you then shall never die!

I like the structure of this, Marty. It has a strong rhythm and flow to it. And as well as the joyful message there is a sense of formality to it that lends it strength.

Great rhymes. "Then" should be deleted in last line for smooth flow. "For if you fully trust Christ our Lord, you (or ye) shall never die."
