A record up in heaven called
the book of life above
For every saint of Holy God
who reached out to his love
The blood of precious Jesus
who had washed their sins away
Provides eternal life to them
A home for them to stay
For every one who's name's not there
who does not know my Lord
Eternally shall then be damned
Not be in one accord
For only loving Jesus
can write names in that dear book
Of those who had just turned away
And every sin forsook!
When Jesus comes in rapture
the age of grace shall end
And then comes sudden judgment
For unbelievers then
Who trusted not in Jesus
to wash their sins away
An anti-Christ deceives them
And steals their souls away!
A time will come when judgment
shall fill the Earth below
And millions of lost people
To hell will someday go
For when believing Christians
with Christ shall fly away
the Earth then knows the judgment
damnation in that day
So now as you have time I ask
Will you reach out to Christ?
To write your name upon the book
The book that will suffice
To seal your fate eternally
To live with God above
The author of eternal life
The God of endless love!

I believe that this is the first gospel song here about the book of life found in heaven!

Spot on Marty. This is really good.
I love this:
Who had not trusted Jesus
to wash their sins away
An anti-Christ deceives them
And steals their souls away!
The end is wonderful. I love God as the author of eternal love. Nice!

This is great.. one of your best!! 'Does' needs to be 'do' though, grammatically. You go, son!
For every one who's name's not there
who does not know my Lord

who do not know my Lord")
