Deep soul, warm heart
© 2018 Alan Evans / Owen Hovenden

Link to music

I got a deep soul and a warm heart
looking for someone who won't rip it apart
I gotta soft touch for the right girl
a mountain of love saved in my little world

got plenty of love for the one who's true
no lies or games could it be you
no time to wait or hesitate
if you need time to think then you're too late

I got a deep soul and a warm heart
looking for someone who won't rip it apart
I gotta soft touch for the right girl
a mountain of love saved in my little world

looking for someone with a pure heart
wore mine on my sleeve got it ripped apart
now I need one who's sweet and true
I'm hoping this time it won't leave me blue

I got a deep soul and a warm heart
looking for someone who won't rip it apart
I gotta soft touch for the right girl
a mountain of love saved in my little world

Short and sweet. Nice.
What do you hear for musical style on this?
I know it's under alternative rock.
But slow or fast, loud or soft?
Maybe medium medium? lol

This flows really nicely, and certainly fits the description you gave for the music. I can easily imagine it done in that style. Starting on the chorus works for it too. I'm thinking you'll need a good singer to do it justice though! Good stuff :)

Wow! What a pleasant surprise this morning to find this song from Seamus set to music by our musical genius on the forum! Mister Owen Hovenden does an excellent job at giving our lyrics their musical legs. And Owen does it all on the very first take. That is proof that he is just so prolific! His talent greatly abounds! And you Seamus write songs that flow rhythmically so Owen can make a true gem! Congratulations to the both of you my good friends.

Awesome song, guys.

I like what you have done with this, RDM.
I was preparing to complain about the need for a guitar solo.
But there it was near the end. Nicely done.
Good guitar work throughout, really. Kudos.

Thanks guys :) Alan made it pretty easy to do this one with his description of what he was looking for.

@Steve, yes it needed a lead guitar solo. I've put one in there, but it's not really my strength.

And as I thought, it really needs a better singer to do it justice! But otherwise I'm happy with the way it came out.

That's a shame! I checked the link and it is still working for me. Not much I can do about that.
