I used a Casio Privia 850 to command each instrument using Cakewalk Sonar with these synths
Dimension Pro
Rapture Pro
Addictive Drums
Garriton Orchestra
Miroslav Philharmonik

I play all parts and quantize them to fit right.Got a lot better since the construction of this piece more than a year ago. I now use CAKEWALK SONAR AND STUDIO ONE 3 AND CUBASE 9.5 PRO as they all have something different to offer. I could always use advice from someone who has correct true advice to give. I am also very happy to help anyone just starting out or is stuck in any ot these DAWs or VSTs that I use.

Not sure if you were after realistic sounding
sax and flute or not.

Sounds like keyboard synthe to me.
Which you indictaed up front, of course.
Maybe that was what you were going for. ???

That would be something to try.
Give the instruments a more breathy natural sound.
Note bending sounds great on the sax. Bluesy sound.
And a hollow airy flute.
