When you are a boy, then girls are icky
No thoughts of love, it's just too sticky
But when you grow up they are so fine
You can't wait to date them, it's on your mind

The difference from childhood to being adult
When everything changes, it's round about
The World is so different
with love on your mind
It's springtime forever
Oh, God is so kind

I find it so funny how children begin
The boys find girls icky, just no room for them
But then in adulthood, the tables do turn
The girls are desirous
And men want them then

The difference from childhood to being adult
We then have grown up, and there is no doubt
The beauty of women so strong on our mind
We love them forever and want to be kind

Like loving your mother, you then want a wife
To be your companion and stay there for life
Ordained by our Father in heaven above
The marriage of couples is God's sweetest love

Do you find it funny how things all can change?
from childhood, adulthood has then changed the game
You have new perspective for how life should be
So many will create their new family tree

For God has ordained for man and his wife
Creation of children, continuance of life
Eternally grateful for all God has done
There's life in the Father and Jesus his Son

I asked God to help me write a song "LIVE" on the forum by bringing up a new topic and waiting on him to give me the words as I do this. In 2016 when I wrote some gospel songs, God helped me write them "LIVE" and now he has helped me write this one today. This is my first song written in this new year of 2018!

;)

Well that is a theme I think everyone can relate to.
I certainly remember a time when girls were icky. Being an adult surely brings a change of perspective!

A good story, well told.

Cute, but seems like it would be difficult to sing. Rhymes are very spotty. Good storyline.

I found that it works well as a rap! I really do not consider rap music, but like a form of poetry!
